    I'm paying NZ$1.699 per Liter in New Zealand. Thats US$4.86 per Gallon!

    Geeze, that's expensive. Even though the gas prices have been high around here (in the Chicago, IL, USA area), they haven't gone above $4, IIRC. The last time I filled up I think it was $3.70/gallon.

    Hmmm, seems like prices have gone down again (it seems normal for them to fluctuate by $.30 or $.40 sometimes):

    Or maybe I'm just not using the right gas stations. :P We also fill up with premium, so that adds to the pain.
